The cherry trees are protected with water

Got up this morning at 6am to an air temperature of -1.4 ° and was suddenly more easily worried about my flowering dwarf cherries. Sometimes it can provide some protection to spray the flowers with water before the sun's rays hit them, and the garden hose also happened to be ready in the grass after washing the greenhouse yesterday - but of course it was also frozen. For lack of better ideas, I instead took a bucket of water from the open rainwater tank to throw it over the trees - which in theory was not such a bad idea as the trees are not quite tall. In practice, it was a bit tricky with the coordination so early in the morning in a barely awake state: the handle of the bucket somehow got stuck in the bathrobe so I instead threw 10 liters of ice cold water in the head of myself …… ..
