The earliest salad was sown

The earliest salad for manure bench can be appropriately sown now (or rather: now I can not wait any longer). When sowing indoors in a plug box at the end of January, the small plants can usually be planted out in the manure bank at the beginning of March, unless we have day frost at that time. The trick is to choose the right varieties: fast-developing and intended for early cultivation. In 2015 and also this year, it will be the greenhouse varieties Nell and Oliver (Impecta), Millenia (Lindbloms) as well as Little Gem and Quattro Stagioni (Thompson & Morgan). From the end of April, it is usually possible to start harvesting, and the first rows are harvested first so that there is room for the tomato plants that will be on the bench in early May.
