Boast cauliflower

Boast cauliflower

Finally we have an overwintering cauliflower that has not gone crazy in the heat. Six pieces of the Mayflower variety were sown in September, overwintered in small pots in the greenhouse, and transplanted under plastic in late March. All the others have produced loose middle heads as well as up to 5 small side heads - while this specimen for some reason has decided to behave normally and form only one large and very dense head.
Admittedly: it's a boastful picture - and I wish I knew how it could be repeated?
