The bottom plate is for raised beds in Siberian larch, featuring V-rails for interior mounting. It is made of plastic with a double bottom and slats
Base plate is used in situations where you:
- Will prevent the soil in the bed from coming into direct contact with the substrate, e.g. a wooden floor or tile.
- Uses GrowWater self-irrigation system, where the capillary tubes must stand on a solid surface without sharp edges and objects.
- Will mount wheels or legs on the bed.
- Do not want soil in the whole bed, but only what is needed in the upper part to grow in.
Note: The base does not mean that the bed is waterproof.
