The frame is in the raised bed with strong 25 mm, UV-protected plastics planks. They are made of pure new PVC, which, contrary to the recycled plastic is free of lead or other undesired materials. The planks are with slats that make them rigid, so they stick to large ground pressure. The cavity of the planks have an insulating effect which results in higher temperature in the bed at night.
Irrigation
As an option you can order self-watering system GrowWater. It is available as a 15 cm tall approach comprising 36 liters of water and thus can supply your plants with water for at least 1-2 weeks in the periods when it is most warm.
