Materials
The frame is in the raised bed with strong 25 mm, UV-protected plastics planks. They are made of pure new PVC, which, contrary to the recycled plastic is free of lead or other undesired materials. The planks are with slats that make them rigid, so they stick to large ground pressure. At the request of more than 120 cm in length, the sides associated with galvanized stiffening crosswise. It makes the construction extra strong.
The cavity of the planks have an insulating effect which results in higher temperature in the bed at night.
Irrigation
As an option you can order self-watering system GrowWater. It is available as a 15 cm tall bet placed on a raised bottom in the bed. It offers 435 liters of water and can supply your plants with water for at least 1-2 weeks in the periods when it is most hot.
Tunnel Superstructure
Raised bed can be equipped with tunnel superstructure which is available with insect nets, bird netting and plastic sheeting.
Earth
Volume ca. 1,950 liters.
When using self-watering, the bed can accommodate approximately 420 liters of soil.
If you wish not land in the entire raised bed or even watering can 9 pcs. soil trays purchased. They have a height of 15 cm and containing 50 liters of soil = 450 liters in total.
