Materials
The frame is in the raised bed with strong 25 mm, UV-protected plastics planks. They are made of pure new PVC, which, contrary to the recycled plastic is free of lead or other undesired materials. The planks are with slats that make them rigid, so they stick to large ground pressure. At the request of more than 120 cm in length, the sides associated with galvanized stiffening crosswise. It makes the construction extra strong.
The cavity of the planks have an insulating effect which results in higher temperature in the bed at night.
Water
As an option you can order self-watering system GrowWater. It is available as a 15 cm tall bet placed on a raised bottom in the bed. It comprises 145 liters of water and thus provide your plants with water for at least 1-2 weeks in the periods when it is most warm.
Soil
Volume ca. 650 liters.
When using self-watering, the bed can accommodate about 210 liters of soil.
If you wish not land in the entire raised bed or even watering can 3 pcs. soil trays purchased. They have a height of 15 cm and containing 50 liters of soil = 150 liters in total.
