This raised bed with the tunnel top section is ideal for growing all kinds of vegetables that benefit from cover. The sides are easy to open because they are fastened with velcro in the raised bed frame and against the gables. They close tightly so that snails do not have access to the bed.
The tunnel consists of
- Tubular support 19 x 1.2 mm zendzirmir-galvanized pipes, which are assembled with High Density PE fittings. Dimensions: 120 x 120 cm.
- 2 end caps in insect screen with drawstring which is drawn on said tubular support. On the outside there is Velcro, which is used to secure the cover in the longitudinal direction (the long side) with. At the bottom of the end gable, there are also Velcro, which seals against the raised bed.
- 1 cover insect net.
- 4 velcro rails which are provided with screws for bolting on the raised bed. Velcroskinnerne used to secure the cover in the longitudinal direction of the raised bed.
Materials
- The frame is made in Siberian larch.
- This ensures that no more trees than the forest can produce are being felled. The trees grows slowly in Siberian climate which makes the core strong with dense structure and a high density.
- The planks are 22 mm thick and 15 cm in height.
- The planks which have pre-drilled holes are bolted to uprights in matt black aluminum. Includes 4 stainless steel carriage bolts with nuts for each plank.
- The top section is made of PVC with galvanized pipes.
